Director of Sales

The team has experience from Amazon Alexa, Facebook, Google, Looker, Salesforce and other leading SaaS companies and AI organizations. You will have the freedom to pave a new path to achieve our mission. The Level AI Director of Sales is a critical part of the Level AI Sales Team and is responsible for maximizing their team’s performance against quota, achieving their own individual quota, and helping to advance the maturity and execution of the Level AI sales organization. In addition to team and individual quota attainment, the Director of Sales will advance sales processes, sales training/onboarding, sales program implementation in order to enable increased velocity by our sales team. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, product, engineering, channel, finance, and HR.

To be successful in this role, you must be excellent at cross-functional leadership, be able to inspire and collaborate with all levels of an organization, and have very strong business and technical analytical skills. Must be self-sufficient, confident, and able to communicate at all levels — including standing up for their work with a fast-moving, intelligent management team. 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of SaaS software sales leadership experience, coaching & leading account executives selling into enterprise level organizations.
  • 4+ years of SaaS software sales experience as an individual contributor at an enterprise level.
  • Experience negotiating, structuring and executing complex enterprise-level agreements
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams through large deal close processes
  • Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using hosted contact center applications would be a distinct advantageAbility to travel up to 20% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP of Sales by growing, mentoring, and leading a subset of the Level AI Sales TeamHire, onboard, train/develop, and manage a team (4-6 individual contributors) of successful sales account executives to consistently over achieve their monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Ensure the success of direct reports, from the time of hire, working closely to supplement and support their direct efforts.
  • Develop and execute against a plan to exceed quota targets every quarterGuide prospects and coach AEs to guide prospects through a solution and value based selling approach.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Team in setting sales strategy and growth objectivesPrepare and provide weekly forecasts updates.
  • Day to day collaboration with the marketing & sales development teams to drive a coordinated Go-To-Market approach across marketing and sales resourcesRepresent and present on behalf of Level AI at industry events and conferences.
  • Ensure that sales activities are updated, current and tracked in CRM
